Sanket mehare is a cinematographer and filmmaker based in los angeles, with over seven years of experience in visual storytelling. he began his journey in mumbai and recently graduated from the new york film academy, where he trained under acclaimed cinematographers pascal lebègue afc, suki medencevic asc, and jacek laskus asc psc. over the years, sanket has contributed to a wide range of projects across narrative, commercial, and documentary spaces. his short film soch was nominated at seven film festivals, while sajeev nirjeev showcases his ability to capture intimate, character-driven stories. he also served as the 2nd unit director of photography on the web series chautha khamb, and has worked with several commercial clients including the pune metro project, swadesh by reliance documentary, and fashion visuals for valta clothing. his portfolio spans documentaries, music videos, short films, branded content, and experimental visuals. technically skilled and creatively driven, sanket is proficient with the sony fx series, red digital cinema, arri, panasonic, and canon camera systems. he also has hands-on experience shooting on 35mm and 16mm film with arri film cameras, bringing a strong understanding of analog aesthetics to his digital work. in addition, he specializes in aerial cinematography, leveraging advanced drone and rig systems to create dynamic, high-impact visuals. sanket approaches every project with a collaborative mindset and a strong commitment to visual storytelling. he combines technical precision with a cinematic sensibility, delivering work that is both emotionally resonant and visually striking. whether you're producing a commercial, a narrative piece, or a documentary, he brings creativity, discipline, and a fresh perspective to the table.
